Introduction

In collaboration with InnQ Installations, STULZ has provided the Almere company Telesuper.nl with seven Q-ton heat pumps from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The aim of this project was to provide the new Telesuper.nl distribution center with a fully electrical installation. Partly due to the installation of the seven Q-ton heat pumps, the new building is completely energy-neutral.

The customer

InnQ, formerly BlokzijlTCL, is an independent installation company with over 30 years of experience, mainly in utility construction. With a team of 50 people, they are big enough for complex and big challenges and small enough to be flexible.

The end user for this project was Telesuper.nl, the specialist in delivering groceries for small-scale living, companies and childcare in The Netherlands. With a complete range of products, a price that is affordable and a service that is exemplary.

The challenges

The start for this project was the demand from the end user to realize a fully energy-neutral building. Important for the solution to be chosen was the fact that the solution had to be fully electric and also gas-free. This required a targeted and adapted design of the installation. This is because the Q-ton is originally suitable for heating warm water. For this solution it was desirable that the heat pumps could heat the entire distribution center. Because the solution had to meet the above requirements, good communication and cooperation was required between InnQ and STULZ to bring the project to a successful conclusion. In addition, STULZ also fulfilled a role as a consultant to ensure that the design properly meets the wishes of the client and the end user.

The solution

As illustrated above, the Q-ton heat pump from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries was chosen as the ultimate solution, no fewer than seven in total. The highly efficient Q-ton is an air-water heat pump that works exclusively with CO2 gas as a refrigerant. This makes the heat pump extremely suitable for a fully electrical installation. The Q-ton has the world's first two-stage compressor to combine rotary and scroll technology. At low outside temperatures, the system maintains its high efficiency and excellent performance. The Q-ton also excels in its low GWP (Global Warming Potential) value of 1 and ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) value of 0. This makes the heat pump extremely environmentally friendly.

The Q-ton heat pump has helped to make it possible for Telesuper.nl's new distribution center to be completely energy neutral and gas-free. The solution is realized within a month (from time of request to delivery). We at STULZ are of course very proud of this, the cooperation between InnQ and STULZ has been very pleasant on both sides. And the end user is also very satisfied with the final result.

All parties involved can look back on a successful project in which the new distribution center was made completely energy neutral and gas-free. Both InnQ and STULZ praise the cooperation with each other and see each other as a reliable party for carrying out these types of projects.
