Hi, I'm Bert
It's nice to meet you. I would like to tell you about my work here, and explain why I like working at STULZ. Perhaps we'll be colleagues some day soon?
I've been married 33 years now and we have two children and two grandchildren. Our joint hobby is jogging, biking and travel. My belief is that what you get out of life is related to your own efforts. I always try to solve problems out of the box, but within my working field the laws of physics remain the limiting factor. I also have a broad technical interest. My aim is to make Carel one of the largest suppliers of humidification in the Netherlands. Not only for datacenters, but also for comfort and industrial applications such as evaporative cooling.
I have endured a broad technical study, like Mechatronics, Fine Mechanics in the Royal Navy and MTS Mechanical Engineering supplemented with several years of PTH.
After 12 years working at the Royal Navy I worked as mechanic at the aviation laboratory. In 1990 I started my business career with a company that sold steering components for the oil and gas industry, semiconductor industry and universities and research institutions. Since 2001 I am working in the HVAC market. First with pumps for heating and cooling, Then with great central heating boilers for heating and industrial processes and, since July 2007 I am working for STULZ.
I found my way to STULZ via a recruitment agency.
The diversity of products ensures that we can offer the most optimal solution for every cooling and humidifciation challenge.
